The FBI is investigating what happened with Solyndra, a California solar panel company that got a $535 million gauranteed government-backed loan with the help of the Obama White House over the objections of federal budget analysts and then went bankrupt. President Obama touted Solyndra as an example of perfect American entrepreneurship early on in his presidency.
Turns out two of Obama's wealthiest supporters benefited and received special access and taxpayer money for their failed ventures. Taxpayers are footing the half-billion dollar bill. This is just one of the bigger "green" debacles. There are at least 15 simillar smaller "green/energy" companies that have gone bankrupt in the last 3 years.
